ELIXIR® Indications.
ELIXIR® is FDA-cleared LED Light Therapy Device.
The Elixir® device is intended to use the Red, Blue, Yellow and Infrared regions of the spectrum to emit energy to treat dermatological conditions.
The Red light (633±10nm wavelength) is generally indicated to treatment of superficial, benign vascular, and pigmented lesions.
The Blue light (417±10 nm wavelength) is generally indicated to treat dermatological conditions and specifically indicated to treat moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris.
The Yellow light (599±10nm wavelength) is generally indicated to treat dermatological conditions and specifically indicated for treatment of periorbital wrinkles and rhytides.
The Infrared light (835±15nm wavelength) is generally used for the temporary relief of
minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis and muscle spasm, relieving stiffness, promoting the relaxation of muscle tissue, and to temporarily increase local blood circulation where applied.
ELIXIR® important safety information.
ELIXIR® should not be used for pregnant women, patients with photosensitive skin diseases, a history of photosensitivity or resent use photosensitizing drugs.Contraindications to infrared light: bleeding tendency, high fever, active tuberculosis, acute suppurative inflammation and malignant tumor.As with any medical procedure, a consultation should be done by a licensed healthcare professional to determine if the patient is a candidate for treatment. Consult the ELIXIR® USER MANUAL for a complete list of Contraindications, Warnings, Precautions, and potential side effects. Treatment applications that deviate from the guidelines are not recommended. Patient results and experience may vary. ELIXIR® device should only be used under the continued supervision of a physician or licensed practitioner. Patients should be continuously monitored during therapy.
